How do I advertise my photo offering to guests?

Guest satisfaction is higher when you mention your photo service at least three times before they arrive onsite so they have an understanding of how it works. We’ve pre-written some copy for you to use for this.

Advertising your photo offering should not stop once the guests are onsite, continue communicating about your offering throughout the guest experience.

Make sure to include whether you are giving away your photos for free or if you are selling photo packages. When selling photo packages communicate how the guests will be able to purchase them and the price.

Advertising the Initial Launch of the Photo Offering

Social Media Announcement

This should be made as soon as Fotaflo is up and active.

Giveaway example:

Your photo memories are free and included in the cost of the experience using @Fotaflo!

Our staff have been specially trained to capture the best photos and videos of your experience!

Your album will be sent to you via email or text where you can view, download and share your photos on social media immediately after!

Retailing example:

We now offer @Fotaflo photo packages to all guests!

Photo packages consist of approximate number of photos for $ Price. You can book these in advance or view your photos after your adventure and then purchase in person.

Advertising the Photo Offering Before the Guests Arrive

Highlight the photo offering on your website

Add a landing page for your photo offering or add a pop-up when guests first go to your home page.

Giveaway example: 

Your photo memories are free and included in the cost of the experience.

If you’re looking to take home memories of your experience with us, we have trained staff who will take your photo while you are in action!

We know all the best photo locations which will allow you to enjoy your experience without the distraction of taking your own photos

Retailing example: 

Our staff have been specially trained to capture the best photos and videos of your experience!

This should be listed as an add-on option to the reservation within the Book Now selection window, make sure to include the price.

Retailing example: 

Thank you for completing your reservation, before I let you go I would like to mention that we offer a digital photos, where our staff will capture your experience. A package of an approximate number of photos is $ Price.

Mention the photo offering in your confirmation email

The email or mobile phone number included in your booking is where your photos will be sent to.

Advertising the Photo Offering Onsite

During the Check-in Process

Giveaway example:

We have trained staff photographers who will take your photo during your experience! Your photo memories are free and included in the cost of the experience. 

We know all the best photo locations and provide all your photos for free, allowing you to enjoy your experience without the distraction of getting your own photos.  

So Dad, don’t worry, you can leave the camera in the car and have fun today!

Retailing example:

We have trained staff photographers who will take your photo during your experience!

Photo packages are $ Price. When the tour is finished you will receive an email with a link where you can view, share, or download all the photos from your tour. If you would like to purchase your photos now the total price is $ Price.  Would you like to add this now?

  • If yes: “OK we can take care of that now!
  • If no: “Alright, please keep in mind we will still take photos of your experience and you can decide if you would like to purchase your photo package afterward"

During your Experience Introduction

Giveaway example:

Guess what?! Your photo memories are free and included in the cost of the experience. I'm going to document your experience today so that you can simply have fun and not get distracted by taking your own photos. 

Today my goal is to take your best photo of the summer! I've already gone ahead this morning and scouted every location to ensure the lighting is just right so you all will look like stars. Seriously though I know every single photo opportunity and I’m going to get you a new profile picture today.

 If you are looking for anything specific, let me know and consider me to be your own personal photographer and tour guide.

Advertise your Photo Offering- During Tour Briefing - Round 2

At the end of your experience

Direct your guests to the photo and video display location if you have one. 

Giveaway example:

“Thank you! You can view your photos at the photo display location."

Retailing example:

“If you have not purchased photos and would like to, that can be done at the retail space. If you have already purchased them then you can go view your photos and our photo staff will provide you access to your photos.”

If you don't have a display, describe how the guests will be receiving access to their albums. 

Access to your album is provided by email or text message. You will receive a link where you can view, share, or download all the photos from your experience.

At the photo and video display location

Giveaway example:

All these awesome photos are free today, if you love them and share them be sure to include #YourHashtag along with your photos for a chance to be featured on our pages!

Retailing example:

Here are your photos on the screen to view! Did you purchase your photos online or during check-in?

If yes: Great, you will receive a link where you can view, share, or download all the photos from your experience.

If no: If you would like to purchase your photos now the total price is $ Price.  Would you like to add this now?
