How do I import media from the iOS app?

Import media from your Photos app into Fotaflo.

If you took photos and videos outside of the Fotaflo app that you want to provide to your guests you can use the Import media feature from within the Fotaflo app.

Open the Fotaflo app and Import media

From the home screen, go to 'History' at the bottom right and then select 'Import Media'

Photo Permissions in iOS 14

iOS 14 added privacy features offering more fine-grained control over access to the photo library. When you first load the app and import photos, you're shown a menu asking for permissions to access photos in your library.  If you select "Select More Photos..." it turns on a privacy feature which also means it will ask you for permission each time you go to import photos.
It also hides the option to allow Fotaflo access to all photos which makes it difficult to find and select your photos quickly.
To work more smoothly, you should switch the app's permission from "Selected photos" to "All Photos":
  1. Open the iOS 14 Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and find the Fotaflo app. Tap on it.
  3. Select Photos, from the allow access list.
  4. Tap on 'All Photos' to change the selection from 'Selected Photos'.
Once that's done, close and re-open the Fotaflo app and try another import. You shouldn't get the "Fotaflo" Would Like to Access Your Photos message any more and you should be able to navigate to all your albums, not just Recents.
