How do I create templates to manage message content?

Create and manage templates for each type of message that is delivered from Fotaflo. Customize the call-to-action button that is included in each template sent from Fotaflo.

Email Settings Overview

On the common tab under email settings, there is a simple colour picker to control the text colour and background colour for the buttons that are included in the emails to guests. This will change the colours for both the View Your Photos button and your custom call-to-action button. Under the Templates tab, you can assign the template you created for the different notification types. You will only see the email settings that are relevant based on your Fotaflo configuration.

Under the templates settings, you can create and manage as many email templates as you need for the different types of email deliveries. Templates will make it easier to manage your email communication and ensure you're sending the right message to the right guests or the friends and family of the guests.

Templates have a couple of nice advantages:

  1. You can re-use the same email content for different types of notifications.
  2. You can create special-purpose email content. For example you could create a template that includes a special coupon code link to your booking page. This template could be set to send only to your advocates.

Editable Subject Lines

You can use different subjects for your various templates so you can send a different email subject depending on the type of message being sent.

Types of Email Deliveries

There are 6 possible types of email that are sent and you can control them individually. You will only see the email settings that are relevant based on your Fotaflo configuration.

NOTE: These can now be created under the Templates setting

Giveaway Delivery Caption

Controls the text that will be displayed below your guest's photos in emails when guests first receive a delivery notification if you are using only giveaway delivery. The focus of this content should be thanking your guests for coming onsite and making sure they view and share their photos.

Purchase and Preview Caption

Purchase: Controls the text that will be displayed below your guest's photos in emails for guests who have purchased photos. The focus of this content should be thanking your guests for coming onsite and making sure they view and share their photos.

Preview: Controls the text that will be displayed below your guest's photos in emails for guests who receive preview photos. The focus of this content should be thanking your guests for coming onsite and providing instructions on how they can purchase their photos and what happens after they do.

Share Caption

Controls the text that will be displayed below your guest's photos in emails when guests share their album to other email addresses. The focus of this content should be for the people receiving this email to view the shared album and to provide them with information about your company.

Automatic Reminder Caption

Controls the text that will be displayed below your guest's photos in automatic reminder emails. The focus of this content should be reminding your guests of their time at your company and having the guests share their photos.

Advocate Engagement Caption

Controls the text that will be displayed below your guest's photos in reminders that are sent from the Advocates page. The focus of this content should be thanking your guests for sharing their photos and engaging with them.
